First Network were out and about under the famous towers of Canary Wharf on Wednesday. We were delivering one of the British Heart Foundation’s most celebrated fundraisers of the year: the Canary Wharf Jog.

This annual event aims to raise funds and awareness for the British Heart Foundation, helping to fight the battle against heart disease.

Co-inciding with National Fitness Day, the street jog gave participants a chance to share an evening with friends and colleagues whilst getting fit and raising money for a great cause.

Runners assembled for a mass warm-up and then took part in a sponsored run of up to 10k.

First Network provided staging and PA systems for the warm up and at the course start and finish lines. Additional speakers placed along the course helped keep up morale amongst the runners.
