Client: Global Investment Company

Venue: The Dolder Grand Hotel, Zurich

The Brief

The Wealth Symposium is the flagship event in our client’s calendar bringing together some 200 international clients for a 2 day series of conferences.

This year’s venue was Zurich’s historic Dolder Grand Hotel. With far reaching views across the city, the Dolder Grand offers a wide variety of room options. For this event we needed an imposing main conference space for hundreds, a ballroom for in which to host the evening event and also a series of more intimate rooms for smaller breakout groups.

The hotel’s dedicated event space, The Gallery, was the venue for the main event. Dinner was served in the ballroom with dessert being served in the foyer, allowing guests the opportunity to socialise in a less formal setting.

The theme of the conference was Digitalization. The strapline ‘Decoding the Future’ was reflected throughout via animated displays, LED stage sets and digital signage.

I’m sending a quick personal thank you for everything you did to make [us] look so good to our clients last week in Zurich. Please extend my thanks to your wonderful team.

The dependable partnership you provide our internal teams is what helps our sales teams shine and, most importantly, get their message across with the intention of building business. The onsite detail you all provided last week hit the nail on the head and helped end the year on such a high note, and also ended my EMEA career on a very happy high. I will really miss working with each of you and will fondly remember how much I’ve enjoyed doing so.

The Solution

The Gallery is an oval shaped event space and we wanted to ensure that the stage and screens followed the curve of the wall. First Network designed custom brackets for the huge LED screens in order to achieve the 3 degree curve required.

Two trucks transported equipment from our London warehouse to Zurich to create a full production of video, audio, lighting, set and stage.

For the Q&A sessions, we supplied a dedicated microphone for each table. These were controlled by our state of the art Dan Dugan system which ensured every delegate had their chance to be heard.
