The Brief

Hosting 200 of our client’s top business managers from around the world, the leadership banking conference had to combine absolute professionalism and flawless delivery with a modern and inspiring tone of voice.

Based in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most dynamic cities, The Arts Hotel afforded stunning views over the Mediterranean, lending the conference a distinctly Latin flavour.

This was also reflected in the event’s theme. Tying together the clients iconic logo with Spanish culture, a giant bull’s head made a striking centrepiece on stage.

The Solution

Held over 5 days in May, First Network shipped a 40ft truck of equipment out to Barcelona.

18 project managers and technicians erected state of the art 20m x 4m square rear projection screens and cutting edge audio visual equipment to deliver a totally immersive experience.

The bull’s head presented First Network with a rather unusual challenge. We loved the idea of combining the client’s bull logo with the Spanish bull icon. The concept gradually evolved, and we added glowing red eyes and smoking nostrils. We were delighted with the result, which was a truly dynamic and experiential centrepiece to a stunning event.

The Spanish theme was continued in an exclusive exhibition of the client’s own collection of Picasso works within the venue for delegates to enjoy.
