Client: Global Investment Company
Venue: The Four Seasons Hotel, London
The Brief
This Annual Investment Conference hosted 160 European delegates for a series of seminars at London’s celebrated Four Seasons Hotel.
In addition to the main conference room, the client required five breakout rooms for more intimate group discussions throughout the day.
Each delegate was given an iPad with which to communicate their feedback to the presenters in real time. This created a high degree of interaction and delegate engagement.
The Four Seasons ballroom layout posed a particular logistical challenge. The room itself is relatively narrow, with an awkward stepped ceiling profile at the stage end.
The Solution
In order to overcome the stepped ceiling issue, and to maximise the use of available space, we needed to develop a unique stage set up.
A smaller background extended the stage to the far right of the room, under the lower part of the ceiling. Here we were able to accommodate a panel of guest speakers.
The wider stage set we created was visually more pleasing and also had the practical benefit of maximising the available space. Both the client and the venue were delighted with the result.
Visiting speaker, The Right Honourable William Hague, MP, delivered a dynamic address to close the event.
