Glittering charity fundraiser raises vital funds to re home ex-race horses.
Backed by Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) The Moorcroft Masterminds Quiz made its debut appearance at a new venue this year – London’s prestigious Montcalm Hotel.
The ever-popular black-tie charity fundraiser was attended by over 200 people and attracted many familiar faces from throughout the racing community. The evening’s events included a champagne reception, live entertainment, and a fabulous sit-down dinner. As always, the highlight was the quiz itself. Teams made up of organisations from across the racing world tackled varied topics in their bid to win the coveted and prestigious 2018 ARC Moorcroft Masterminds title and trophy.
The evening was hosted by TV Presenters Nick Luck and Gina Harding and culminated in the auction of some unique and special prizes.
Since 2011, the charity fundraiser evening has made over £200,000 for the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre, a charity established in order to find permanent homes for retired racehorses.
