WINTER LIGHTS ILLUMINATES THE CANARY WHARF SKYLINE WITH SPECTACULAR LIGHT INSTALLATIONS AND INTERACTIVE ART
This week First Network are providing projection support for Winter Lights at Canary Wharf.
Winter Lights is a series of sculptures, structures and installations. They are the creations of some of the most innovative artists and designers in the world, presenting work in different forms of light technology. Artists from across the globe showcase installations that are interactive, performance art or visual spectacles to be admired from afar.
First Network have been involved with the installation piece Luma Paint Light Graffiti by German lighting artists, Lichtfaktor. We have provided a 20,000 ansi lumen projector within a bespoke-built weatherproof construction. The fusion of light graffiti and object mapping transforms almost any object into a living paint canvas. It could be a car, a building, a wall or piece of furniture. Special light sources create stunning light graffiti in rapid speed. Visitors are invited to come and make their own art.
Appealing to art lovers, families, young and the old, Winter Lights offers something for everyone from dusk and it’s all free! Best seen after 5pm all the installations and light affects come alive during the evening until 10pm.
The exhibits will stay up until this Saturday, the 27th. So hurry over and take a look soon if you can. It’s a great way to brighten up a dark January evening.
