The Burns Night Supper is an institution of Scottish life; a night to celebrate the national Bard, Sir Robert Burns.

First Network celebrated in style last week. We delivered a Burns Night Supper for more than 200 on behalf of a global law firm client. The venue was the distinguished Merchant Taylor’s Hall in the heart of the City. Steeped in history and boasting a stunning oak panelled ball room, the hall lent opulence and gravitas befitting the occasion.

In keeping with tradition a piper played guests into dinner. The evening included The Toast to the Haggis, a celebration of the life of Robert Burns and of course a hearty meal of ‘Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’.

Throughout the evening a band and pianist entertained guests and First Network provided lighting and audio. With a very short window in which to set up, the team needed to unload and assemble equipment efficiently and discreetly. It really was a grand affair and we were delighted that everything ran exactly to plan on the night.
